Power Made Into An Idol

Habakkuk sees a proud conqueror whose mind changes as victory swells his heart. Instead of honoring the true God, he credits his own strength and makes power his god. This warns us that success can quietly become worship when we trust ability, influence, or force more than the Lord. God sees the arrogance behind human triumph. Let every gift and victory lead us to humility, gratitude, and dependence on Him.
