Beware Worshiping Success

Habakkuk describes people sacrificing to their net and burning incense to their drag because these tools brought them plenty. It is a vivid picture of trusting success, skill, or systems instead of God. When prosperity comes, our hearts can quietly credit our own methods. This verse calls us back to humility. Every provision is from the Lord, and our gratitude must rise to Him, not to our instruments.
