Striving Against the Storm

The sailors rowed hard, trying to save the ship and reach land, but the storm only grew stronger. Human effort, though sincere, cannot overcome what God is using to reveal truth. Sometimes we labor against consequences, resistance, or conviction instead of surrendering to the Lord. This verse reminds us to discern when striving must give way to obedience. Peace is found not in stronger rowing, but in yielding to God.
