When Hope Is Misplaced

Ezekiel portrays a mother whose hope was lost, so she raised another young lion. The verse carries the sorrow of misplaced trust and repeated disappointment. When human strength fails, we are tempted to grasp for another earthly solution. Yet God invites us to place hope not in power, pride, or succession, but in Him. Lost hope can become the beginning of truer dependence on the Lord.
