When No One Calls

Hosea describes a people burning with restless passion, consuming their leaders, while none calls upon the Lord. Their inward heat produces chaos rather than repentance. The verse warns us about anger, ambition, and desire left unchecked by prayer. When hearts are inflamed but prayerless, destruction follows. God invites us to turn from self-driven fires and call on Him, the only One who can cleanse, cool, and restore.
