Receive the Implanted Word

James calls us to lay aside moral filth and overflowing wickedness, not as a shallow cleanup, but as preparation to receive God’s Word. The Word is described as engrafted, planted within the heart by grace, and able to save the soul. We receive it with meekness, not pride. A teachable spirit welcomes correction, trusts God’s wisdom, and lets Scripture take root in daily life.
