A Heartless Dove Wanders

Ephraim is compared to a silly dove, fluttering from Egypt to Assyria without wisdom or heart. Fear made them seek help everywhere except in God. We can do the same when anxiety drives us from one solution to another, while prayer is neglected. The Lord invites us to return with an undivided heart. True safety is not in frantic movement, but in trusting Him.
