Your Body for the Lord

Paul corrects a shallow view of the body. Food and appetite are temporary, but the body itself belongs to the Lord. It is not made for sexual sin, but for holy union with Christ’s purposes. God cares about what we do with our bodies because He has redeemed the whole person. True freedom is not indulgence, but offering ourselves to the Lord who gave Himself for us.
