Do Not Be Deceived

Paul warns that unrighteousness cannot inherit the kingdom of God. His words are meant to awaken, not merely accuse. Sin deceives by promising life while leading us away from God. The gospel calls us to turn from every practice that rules the heart in place of Christ. There is mercy for the repentant, cleansing for the guilty, and a new identity for those who are washed in Jesus.
