God’s Justice Comes Near

Obadiah warns that the day of the Lord is near and that what was done to others will return upon the doer. God’s justice is not careless or blind. Pride, cruelty, and betrayal matter to Him. This verse calls us to repentance and mercy. Instead of rejoicing over another’s fall, we should walk humbly, knowing the righteous Judge sees all and will set things right.
