A Priest Who Needs Mercy

Hebrews reminds us that the old priests offered sacrifices not only for the people but also for themselves. Their ministry was marked by need, weakness, and dependence on mercy. This points us to the greatness of Christ, our sinless High Priest, who had no sins of His own to offer for. Yet it also teaches humility: those who serve God must never forget their own need for grace.
