Abide in Christ’s Teaching

John warns that moving beyond the doctrine of Christ is not progress but loss. To abide in Christ’s teaching is to remain where life truly is—with the Father and the Son. Faith is not improved by leaving Jesus behind. Every idea, desire, and teacher must be tested by Him. When we stay rooted in His truth, we are kept in fellowship with God.
