God Desires Our Whole Heart

James confronts the restless envy that can rise within the human heart. Scripture does not speak in vain: divided desires pull us away from God and toward rivalry, pride, and discontent. The Lord cares deeply about what rules us inside. Rather than excuse envy, we can bring it honestly to Him. His grace is able to cleanse our desires and restore wholehearted devotion.
