Love Stayed On The Cross

The mockers thought Jesus’ refusal to come down proved weakness. In truth, His staying on the cross revealed saving love. He could have rescued Himself, yet He chose to save others through suffering obedience. Faith does not demand that Christ avoid the cross; faith sees the King reigning from it. Our salvation rests on the love that would not turn away.
