Called by Name

Esther 2:14 shows the vulnerability and uncertainty of life in the king’s court. A woman could be received, then set aside unless called by name. Behind this human system, however, God was quietly working His purpose for Esther and His people. When circumstances seem controlled by others, the Lord is not absent. He knows our names, sees hidden places, and can guide even complex situations toward His redemptive plan.
