Building Without God

Edom boasted that it would rebuild what had been broken, but the Lord declared that proud rebuilding would not stand. Human determination cannot overcome a heart set against God. This verse warns us against self-reliance that ignores repentance. The safest foundation is not ambition, strength, or national pride, but humble surrender to the Lord. What He establishes endures; what defies Him falls.
