Waters Parted by Faith

Elijah struck the waters with his mantle, and the river divided so he and Elisha crossed on dry ground. The scene echoes God’s power to make a way where none appears. Elijah’s mantle was not magic; the living God was at work. When we face barriers, we remember that obedience may lead us to impossible edges. The Lord is able to open the path before us.
