Trust the Prophet’s Word

When the men return from their search, Elisha reminds them that he had already warned them not to go. Their effort came from concern, but it also showed reluctance to trust the word given. Sometimes faith means accepting what God has spoken, even when we want to verify everything ourselves. Obedience saves us from needless wandering and weary searches.
