Abiding Through the Spirit

Obedience is not a cold duty; it is the fruit of dwelling in Christ. John teaches that those who keep His commandments live in fellowship with Him, and He with them. This abiding is confirmed by the Spirit God has given. When the Spirit draws us toward love, holiness, and trust, He witnesses that Christ is at work within us, keeping us close to His heart.
