Do Not Turn Back

Matthew 24:18 speaks with urgency: when the time comes, the one in the field must not return for clothes. Jesus teaches readiness and decisive obedience in moments of crisis. Some things cannot be saved without losing what matters most. The verse calls us to hold earthly possessions lightly and respond quickly to the Lord’s warning. A prepared heart follows Him forward, not backward, trusting His word above comfort.
