Take Heed Against Deception

Jesus begins His warning about the last days with a simple command: take heed. Deception is dangerous because it often sounds persuasive, urgent, or spiritual. The disciple must be watchful, not fearful; discerning, not suspicious of everything. We guard our hearts by staying close to Christ, testing every voice by His word, and refusing to be led away from the truth by pressure, spectacle, or confusion.
