Called To Follow Immediately

When Jesus called James and John, they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and followed Him. Their response was immediate, costly, and personal. Christ’s call does not always mean leaving the same things, but it always asks for first place. When He speaks, obedience becomes worship. Trust that what you leave in His hands is never abandoned but surrendered to a greater purpose.
