Hated Yet Held by Christ

Jesus prepares His disciples for rejection by reminding them that the world hated Him first. When faithfulness brings misunderstanding, we are not abandoned or strange; we are sharing in the path of our Lord. His love steadies us when approval is withheld. We do not answer hatred with hatred, but with patient witness, remembering that belonging to Christ is greater than belonging to the world.
