When Enemies Mock

Psalm 35:21 gives voice to the pain of being mocked by those who rejoice over trouble. Their open mouths and cruel “Aha” reveal the wounds that words can make. Yet bringing this pain to God is an act of faith. We do not need to answer every accusation with bitterness. The Lord sees what others distort, hears what others say, and becomes refuge for the falsely accused.
