Wholehearted Obedience Matters

James teaches that God’s law cannot be treated selectively. The same Lord who commands purity also commands love for life. To break one command is to stand as a transgressor before the Lawgiver. This humbles our pride and drives us toward mercy. We do not obey to earn God’s favor, but because His will is whole and holy. Grace teaches us to honor every part of His word.
