The Danger of Clinging

Hosea’s words are sobering: Ephraim is joined to idols; let him alone. Persistent rebellion can harden the heart until correction is refused. Idols promise comfort but bind the soul. This verse warns us not to treat sin lightly or cling to anything above God. Today is the mercy of invitation. We can turn from false loves and ask the Lord to reclaim our whole hearts.
