Trouble and Honest Faith

Job’s friend observes that humanity is born to trouble as naturally as sparks fly upward. Though his counsel is imperfect, the statement reflects a sober truth: life in a broken world includes suffering. Faith does not require pretending otherwise. Yet Scripture also leads us beyond trouble to the God who redeems, comforts, and restores. We can be honest about pain while still anchoring our hope in the Lord’s compassion.
