Who Became the Neighbor

Luke 10:36 asks which man proved to be a neighbor to the wounded traveler. Jesus turns the question from identifying who deserves love to becoming someone who gives love. True neighborliness is shown in mercy, compassion, and costly action. The verse challenges us to notice the hurting, cross barriers, and serve practically. Love is not merely a feeling; it moves toward need.
