Do Not Keep Wrath

The Lord condemns Edom for pursuing his brother with the sword, casting off pity, and keeping wrath forever. Anger that is nursed becomes destructive, especially when directed against those we should treat as kin. God sees cruelty, bitterness, and refusal to show mercy. This verse warns us to release vengeance before it hardens the soul. The way of the Lord calls us back to pity, justice, and reconciliation.
