The Lord Defends Holiness

Nahum declares God’s jealousy and vengeance against His enemies. This is not petty anger, but holy justice. The Lord loves what is good and will not ignore evil forever. For the oppressed, this is comfort; for the rebellious, it is warning. God’s patience should never be mistaken for indifference. His holiness assures us that evil will answer to Him.
