When Worship Becomes Idolatry

Hosea exposes a tragic exchange: silver fashioned into idols, devotion directed toward the work of human hands. Sin often grows when people shape gods according to their own understanding. Idolatry promises closeness but leads the heart away from the living Lord. Ask God to reveal anything you have made ultimate besides Him. True worship does not kiss the calves; it bows before the Creator.
