Prepared for Tribulation

Paul did not hide the cost of following Christ. He told the Thessalonians beforehand that believers would suffer tribulation, and it happened just as he said. Honest discipleship prepares the heart, not with fear, but with endurance. Trouble does not mean God has failed us. Jesus told us the path would include pressure, yet His grace would be sufficient. Faith grows stronger when it is prepared, rooted, and watchful.
