Christ Reveals the Invisible God

Colossians 1:15 lifts our eyes to Jesus as the image of the invisible God. In Him, the unseen Father is made known with perfect clarity, grace, holiness, and love. The title firstborn speaks of His supreme rank over all creation, not that He is created. When we want to know what God is like, we look to Christ and worship Him with confidence.
