Guarding God’s House Wisely

Jeremiah records a charge given to restrain those labeled mad or self-made prophets. The verse exposes tension around authority, discernment, and the danger of silencing God’s true word. Religious office can be used to protect holiness, but also to resist conviction. We need humble discernment: test every message by God’s truth, beware spiritual pride, and remain open when the Lord speaks correction.
