The Lord Is My Portion

The psalmist declares, “The Lord is my portion,” and responds with a commitment to keep His words. When God Himself is our treasure, obedience becomes a loving response rather than a burden. Earthly portions can fade, shift, or disappoint, but the Lord remains enough. This verse invites us to anchor contentment in Him. If He is our inheritance, then His Word becomes the path we gladly follow.
