Waiting For Good

The people of Maroth waited anxiously for good, but trouble came to Jerusalem’s gate. Micah’s words remind us that hope placed in circumstances can be deeply shaken. Waiting for relief is human, yet the Lord calls us to deeper trust than optimism alone. When hardship arrives, we may grieve honestly and still seek God’s mercy. Our hope is not that evil never comes, but that God remains righteous and near.
