Known by the Spirit

Paul teaches that just as a person’s inner thoughts are known by his own spirit, the deep things of God are known by the Spirit of God. Human wisdom cannot climb into divine understanding by itself. We need revelation, humility, and dependence. The Spirit opens what pride cannot grasp and makes God’s truth living to us. To know God truly, we must be taught by God Himself.
