Grace Is Not Wages

The first workers expected more because they had labored longer, yet they received the same agreed wage. Jesus exposes how easily comparison can disturb our joy. God’s generosity is not injustice; it is grace. When we measure blessings against others, gratitude fades. This verse invites us to trust the Master’s goodness, rejoice in His mercy, and remember that the kingdom is received not by entitlement, but by grace.
