Guarding Against Pride

Paul warns that a novice should not be placed in leadership too quickly, lest pride bring a fall. Spiritual responsibility requires maturity, humility, and tested character. Gifts may appear early, but roots take time to grow deep. This verse protects both the leader and the church. Let God form you in hidden seasons.
