Obedience Before the Lord

Numbers 20:9 notes that Moses took the rod from before the Lord as commanded. Even a simple act of obedience begins in God’s presence. The rod, a reminder of divine authority and past wonders, was not Moses’ tool to use independently, but something received under command. This verse calls us to handle God’s gifts reverently. Before we act for Him, we must listen to Him.
