The Call to Fruitfulness

Jesus’ word to the barren fig tree was a serious sign. Leaves without fruit warned against outward appearance without true life. The disciples heard, and so should we. God looks for living faith that bears fruit in obedience, love, repentance, and prayer. This verse invites us to examine our hearts, not with despair, but with readiness to receive Christ’s life and become fruitful for Him.
