Entrusting Justice to God

Paul names the harm Alexander caused, yet he does not take vengeance into his own hands. He places the matter before the Lord, who sees every work clearly and judges rightly. When we are wounded by others, faith does not deny the pain, but it refuses bitterness as master. We can speak truth, set wise boundaries, and entrust justice to God, whose judgment is perfect and whose care for us is sure.
