God Overthrows Earthly Power

Haggai’s word reminds us that no throne, army, or human strength can stand against the purposes of God. Kingdoms may appear secure, but the Lord rules over history with perfect authority. This is both warning and comfort: pride will fall, but God’s people need not fear worldly powers. When the nations shake, anchor your heart in the unshakable King whose reign cannot be overturned.
