Worship in Holy Order

As the ark was carried, David, the Levites, singers, and Chenaniah were clothed and appointed for worship. The scene is joyful, reverent, and ordered around the presence of God. Worship is not casual entertainment; it is holy participation before the Lord. Each person had a part, from those bearing the ark to those leading song. We also are invited to serve with gladness, humility, and reverence.
