Forgiveness Without Counting

Peter asked about forgiving seven times, but Jesus answered with seventy times seven. He was not giving a new limit, but freeing us from keeping score. Forgiveness reflects the mercy we have received from God, who does not treat us according to our sins. This kind of grace may require prayer, boundaries, and time, but it refuses revenge. In Christ, mercy becomes our way of life.
