Joy That Cannot Remain

Isaiah speaks of a proud and joyous city, ancient and established, yet destined to wander far from home. Earthly security can vanish, and human glory can be carried away. This verse gently warns us not to build our joy on wealth, history, or reputation. True gladness is found in the Lord, whose kingdom cannot be uprooted or exiled.
