Prayer Before Power

Before Peter spoke to Tabitha, he knelt and prayed. The miracle did not begin with confidence in himself, but dependence on God. This scene teaches us to make prayer our first movement, not our last resort. When faced with impossible need, step away from noise, bow before the Lord, and listen. Life-giving power belongs to Him alone.
