Growing Faith Diligently

Peter calls believers to give all diligence, adding virtue to faith and knowledge to virtue. Faith is the beginning, not the end, of spiritual growth. God’s grace does not make us passive; it trains us to pursue Christlike character with intention. Each day we can cooperate with His work, choosing goodness, learning truth, and strengthening what He has planted in us. Growth is grace received and practiced.
