Baptized With Spirit And Fire

John knew his ministry was only preparation. Water baptism pointed to repentance, but the coming Christ was mightier beyond comparison. Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire, bringing cleansing, power, and holy renewal. This verse calls us to humble expectation. We do not rest in outward signs alone; we look to Christ, who transforms hearts and fills His people with the presence of God.
