The Lord Will Come

Malachi announces a messenger who will prepare the way, and then the Lord will come to His temple. God’s promises may seem delayed, but they move with certainty. He prepares hearts before He reveals glory. This verse points to holy expectation: the sought-after Lord comes as covenant messenger and purifier.
